Research Interests

In my clinical work, I focus on head and neck, endocrine, thoracic and urologic pathology. My research is focused on translational projects in these clinical areas. I am currently participating in studies on lung cancer screening efficacy, molecular targets in urologic carcinogenesis and HPV in head and neck squamous cell carcinomas. I also have interest in quality assurance in anatomic pathology and the financial aspects of billing and coding in pathology practice.I have a strong interest in post graduate education in pathology and particularly enjoy participating in the program direction of our core pathology residency and our surgical pathology fellowship.
