Chelsea is an MD-PhD student studying the regulation of cardiac cell differentiation in Dr. Li Qian’s lab. She attended the University of Utah for her undergraduate studies where she majored in Biology and Health, Society & Policy with a minor in Chemistry. During this time, she studied the role of tumor suppressor p16 in melanoma. Outside of lab, she enjoys cooking, drawing/painting, and ice skating.
