Trinity Moore is a PhD student studying evasion of the innate immune system by human papilloma virus (HPV) in the lab of Dr. Cary Moody. Originally from North Carolina, Trinity graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Bioethics. After college, she took a gap year as a PREP post-baccalaurate student at UNC Chapel Hill where she studied the necroptotic signaling cascade modulated by a protein called CHIP in the context of neurodegeneration. Trinity came to UNC to be closer to her family and because of the highly collaborative nature within BBSP and across the Research Triangle. Outside of lab she loves to travel and is currently trying to visit 6 continents by 30 (3 down, 3 more to go!)
