A graduate of the University of Toronto, Tim started his CF research career in 1986 at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto with Dr. John Riordan, co-discoverer of the CF gene in 1989. His research work has taken him to the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ and finally to the University of North Carolina in 2007 where he manages the CF Antibody Distribution Program.
When not in the lab, you can find him fiddling in his wood shop or photographing the night sky from his backyard observatory.
