About Us

A peripheral nerve is any nerve that carries messages from the brain and spinal cord to the rest of the body. Some of the most well-known peripheral nerve disorders include peripheral nerve compression syndromes such as carpal tunnel syndrome which is the result of nerve compression in the wrist or cubital tunnel syndrome which is the result of nerve compression at the elbow. Peripheral nerves can also be affected by trauma, tumor, or disease. Our team consists of orthopaedic surgeons, nonoperative orthopaedic physicians, neurosurgeons, physiatrists, rehabilitation specialists, neurophysiologists, musculoskeletal radiologists, and hand therapists who work together to create a customized treatment and recovery plan consisting of both surgical and non-surgical options.
