Arsema Temesgen is a junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Health Policy and Management. Arsema’s research interests are primarily focused on finding solutions to health inequities among vulnerable and underserved populations. She serves as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the SHINE (Supporting Healthy Individuals through Nurturing Environments) Study. Upon graduation, Arsema aspires to pursue a career in public health advocacy and ultimately gain an MPH. Outside of her studies, Arsema enjoys reading and visiting museums.
