Julia McMillan is a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Data Science. Julia’s research interests are focused on sensory and neurological disorders, including misophonia. She serves as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the SHINE (Supporting Healthy Individuals through Nurturing Environments) Study. Upon graduation, Julia hopes to pursue a career in neuroscience research and possibly continue her education at graduate school. Outside of her studies, Julia enjoys playing tennis and holding a leadership position in her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma.
