EPI-NC works to guide and assist the expansion of early psychosis services in North Carolina. EPI-NC has expanded to help support the development of innovative programming in service of increasing access and improving care for the early psychosis population.

Who we are

EPI-NC promotes and supports the use of evidence-based model in North Carolina’s Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) clinics for first episode psychosis (FEP). This model includes evidence-based medication management, individual therapy, family education, and supported employment and education services. In North Carolina, we also include Peer Support Services as integral to CSC for FEP
