EPI-NC Associate Director

Dr. Reddy’s research has examined the determinants of functional deficits among adults with psychosis with an emphasis on improving motivation and goal-attainment. She developed MI-CBT for negative symptoms, an intervention with a strong and growing evidence base to improve motivation and functioning. She has translated her empirical findings into rehabilitative techniques for individuals with schizophrenia and worked to evaluate and disseminate new interventions. Dr. Reddy is passionate about improving both interventions and systems of care so that they more effectively and efficiently serve all members. In addition to treatment development and dissemination, Dr. Reddy is involved in staff training and program evaluation initiatives.

As Associate Director of the EPI-NC program, Dr. Reddy supports the clinicians in FEP clinics across NC, in their efforts to deliver effective and recovery-focused interventions. Dr. Reddy is engaged in clinical and research activities related to program evaluation, implementation science, clinical staff training, and dissemination of best practices.
