Dr. Kelsey Ludwig is a licensed clinical psychologist in the Early Psychosis Interventions of North Carolina (EPI-NC) program, where she supports the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions for young people with psychosis and their families. Her work focuses on improving care and support for families, with an emphasis on digital health tools, caregiver well-being, and systems-level implementation. She is the lead developer of Caring for the Carer, a cognitive-behavioral therapy-based intervention designed to reduce distress and enhance self-efficacy among caregivers. Dr. Ludwig also leads statewide efforts to implement Moderated Online Social Therapy (MOST) platforms for young people with psychosis (Horyzons) and their family members (Altitudes) in Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) programs.

In addition to her research, Dr. Ludwig plays an active role in training new therapists, ensuring fidelity to evidence-based practices, and guiding program development across CSC teams in North Carolina. She also oversees the implementation of family peer support within CSC, working to expand the role of caregivers as valued partners in care. Her work is driven by commitment to bridging the gap between research and practice through the development of scalable, sustainable models that improve outcomes for individuals with psychosis and their families.
