Other Resources
The following bilingual (English and Spanish) handouts were created to support family members and caregivers of young people experiencing first episode psychosis. Each resource offers accessible, evidence-based information on important topics, including understanding psychosis, treatment and recovery, managing difficult moments, self-care for caregivers, and reducing stigma. These materials aim to promote knowledge-sharing, compassionate support, and foster long-term recovery for individuals and family members.
This project was supported by the UNC Mental Health ACCESS Grant (Altitudes en Español), awarded to Drs. Kelsey Ludwig, David Penn, Felice Reddy, and Diana Perkins. The grant aimed to enhance access to care and improve the cultural relevance of materials for family members of young people experiencing psychosis in North Carolina.
