The UNC Center for Transplant Care is celebrating 50 years of care for patients. To commemorate this milestone there will be an event to recognize patients, doctors,and staff that make the program possible.

Dr. Mark Farber is appointed as the Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery.

The UNC and Duke Chapters of the Association of Women Surgeons held the inaugural Southeast Exchange Conference on September 22, 2018, at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. The conference included a series of workshops and panels on topics aligned with the theme, “Breaking Down Barriers, Building Each Other Up.”

UNC Greensboro (UNCG), the Triad’s largest state university, announced that Dr. Samuel Jones (’93 MA) has been selected to receive the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) College of Arts and Sciences Distinguished Alumni Award.
