I am interested in studies of new operative techniques and studies about increasing operative efficiency.
I was looking for a program with well-respected faculty that have a track record of producing strong operative surgeons.
Why did you choose to become a surgeon?
I chose surgery because I love anatomy and the ability to use my hands to directly solve a patient’s problems.
Favorite thing about UNC?
My favorite thing about UNC is my co-interns. They are a fantastic group of people that I enjoy showing up to work with every day.
Favorite Surgery?
My favorite surgery is a total hip.
Hobbies
My hobbies include playing golf, powerlifting, and spending time with my wife, Kerrigan.
