Dr. Kathryn Gessner Selected for AUA Early-Career Investigators Showcase at 2026 Annual Meeting

Dr. Kathryn Gessner has been selected to present her research at the 2026 Early-Career Investigators Showcase (ECIS) during the American Urological Association (AUA) Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. Dr. Gessner will present a poster titled “Spatial profiling of plasmacytoid urothelial carcinoma reveals therapeutic vulnerabilities,” during the ECIS session on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 3:30–5:30 PM ET.

Dr. Minh Pham Selected as Faculty Tutor for UNC School of Medicine’s Patient Centered Care Course

Dr. Minh Nguyen Pham, Assistant Professor of Urology, has been selected to serve as a faculty tutor for the Patient Centered Care (PCC) course within the UNC School of Medicine’s Medical Doctorate curriculum beginning in the Fall 2026 term. Dr. Pham will lead one of these small groups during the Foundation Phase of the medical curriculum, meeting weekly with students as they develop the clinical and professional skills that will shape their future patient care.
