Designed to support junior faculty within their first three years, LAMP aims to build a sense of community, purpose, direction, and confidence, facilitating a thriving career at UNC. The program spans eight sessions, each focusing on critical elements of career planning and professional development. From team building to financial literacy, LAMP aims at equipping our faculty with the tools they need to excel in academic medicine.

About LAMP Sessions
The LAMP program, organized by the Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development, will unfold over eight months, guiding participants through essential aspects of academic medicine. Meet Our Faculty
Dr. Hans Arora, MD, PhD
Dr. Arora’s dedication extends to his research pursuits, where he actively works to improve access to care for pediatric patients with urologic conditions, utilizing telemedicine/telehealth technologies. A recognized expert in health policy and legislation, he serves nationally with both the American Medical Association and American Urological Association, exemplifying his commitment to advancing healthcare at large.

Dr. Minh Nguyen Pham, MD
His clinical interests span kidney stones and prostatic diseases, with an emphasis on providing comprehensive urologic care. Dr. Pham’s commitment to community healthcare is reflected in his partnership with UNC Chatham Hospital, extending urologic care to patients in Siler City and Pittsboro.
