Kathryn joined UNC Urology in 2023 as the department’s first Advanced Practice Provider Fellow, and is board certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the American Urological Association and has been published in the Journal of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Kathryn has a background in critical care and palliative nursing and is passionate about helping patients navigate complex decision making with a focus on symptom management and quality of life. She has a special interest in managing prostate cancer, from initial screening to surveillance after treatment.
