We are pleased to share that Dr. David Friedlander, an Assistant Professor with UNC Urology, has been nominated to present at the “Early-Career Investigator’s Showcase” during the upcoming 2024 Annual Meeting of the American Urological Association (AUA). The event is scheduled to be held in San Antonio, Texas, in early May.

The Early-Career Investigator’s Showcase stands out as a dedicated session at the AUA Annual Meeting, spotlighting the work of early-career physician-scientists and researchers. This platform allows emerging Urologists to present their research projects through poster sessions and podium presentations, emphasizing innovation across the research spectrum.

Dr. Friedlander’s nomination recognizes his contributions to research in value-based care in nephrolithiasis – an area where he is quickly becoming a leader in the field.

Dr. Friedlander’s nomination comes from the AUA’s Research Grants and Investigator Support Committee (RGISC), which includes Dr. Katherine Chan, a fellow UNC Urology Faculty member.

Congratulations to Dr. Friedlander, we eagerly await the insights he will bring to the Annual Meeting.
