We are proud to announce that one of our faculty physicians, Dr. Timothy Bukowski, MD, FAAP, FACS, has been honored with the “Award for Outstanding Achievement” at the 2023 North Carolina Pediatric Society (NCPeds) Annual Meeting. This award is presented to a pediatrician or professional working in pediatrics who has demonstrated exceptional service to enhance the health and well-being of children and adolescents.

The NCPeds Annual Meeting, this year held in Wilmington, highlighted the dedication of individuals and organizations committed to optimizing the health, well-being, and futures of North Carolina’s infants, children, and adolescents. Dr. Bukowski’s recognition is a testament to his unwavering commitment to pediatric care and his outstanding contributions to the field.

“Receiving this award was quite a surprise for me, as I just do what I like to do, and I’ve been blessed with working with so many great people. We’ve had so much fun over the years, it never seemed like work. It is such an honor and privilege to be able to take care of children, day-to-day, and I am continually filled with awe watching them grow and develop.”
