     Dr. Homeister's laboratory is part of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. The laboratory is also part of the McAllister Heart Institute, formerly the Carolina Cardiovascular Biology Center, at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.

Dr. Homeister is Associate Director of the Molecular and Cellular Pathology Graduate Program in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Admission to the program is through the Biological and Biomedical Sciences Program of the Graduate School.

Dr. Homeister is also faculty of the Environmental Pathology Training Program, the Integrated Vascular Biology Program, and the Graduate Training Program in Translational Medicine.
