The ongoing research interests of the laboratory are summarized on the “About the Laboratory” page for your review. Projects related to these areas of study are available for undergraduate students, graduate students, medical students, residents, post-doctoral fellows and clinical fellows. Projects can be tailored to an individual’s interests, training, goals, and academic requirements, and/or degree granting program. Studies in the laboratory utilize a variety of experimental methods and approaches, from classic cellular and molecular biology, to in vitro study of leukocyte adhesion and rolling, to genetic manipulation of mice, and the in vivo study of transgenic and “knockout” mice. Please contact Dr. Homeister to further discuss opportunities to participate in the laboratory.
