MSPE Process

Medical Student Performance Evaluation formally known as the "Dean's letter".

The Medical Student Performance Evaluation, also called the dean's letter, is a description of a student’s accomplishments and academic record beginning with undergraduate education and continuing through medical school. The format for the letter is set by the AAMC. Students submit a CV and meet with the Student Affairs staff writer to review the draft of their dean’s letters for accuracy and completeness. Each student also meets with his or her College Advisor and a Career Goal Advisor to ensure that the student is developing a good plan to match successfully.
