Our mission at the Division of General Pediatric Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is to treat sick and injured children with our expert and experienced team. We are committed to offer the highest level of Pediatric Surgical Services through fully-trained and board-certified Pediatric Surgeons.

What is a Pediatric Surgeon?

Our surgical team provides the best care possible in a family-centered, “kid-friendly” environment while educating patients, their families, colleagues and the community about surgical problems that are unique to children. We are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week for consultations, questions, and referrals by calling 919-966-4643 (8AM-5PM Monday – Friday) and 919-966-4131 (after 5PM and for emergencies).  Referring physicians may contact our physicians through the Carolina Consultation Center at 919-966-4005.
