The UNC Trauma Program is a collaborative enterprise that incororates the expertise of many different disciplines in order to provide the most comprehensive care possible for adult and pediatric trauma patients.  Units involved in the care of trauma patients include Carolina Air Care, the Emergency Department, Intensive Care, Surgical Units, Pediatric Speciality Units, Rehabilitation Units and the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center.  In addition, the Trauma Program establishes and maintains all protocols and procedures involved in our trauma process.
