Below is a closer view of the stage of the Freedom Evo®. The arm is located at the far right top; after a PCR reaction has been set up, the arm moves the plates into the hotel, which has the capacity to store 18 plates. The plates are then moved from the hotel to the Lightcycler® (on the right).
