- The community service officer duties include acting as a resource for community service for medicals school student organizations, documenting community service performed at the school of medicine, and organizing school community service events such as blood drives, food drives, and a Day of Service. The Day of Service occurs once in the spring and fall when medical students spend a day at several sites throughout the Research Triangle performing service.
