Brigid Rankowski is a professional mermaid, circus performer, and disability content creator based in Portland, Maine. They are the Executive Director of The Maine Youth Circus, promoting circus arts to children and children of all ages. Brigid advocates at a state and national level with a vested interested in women’s issues, LGBTQIA+ issues, and promotion of the arts as a creative outlet as well as a career path. In her free time, she breathes fires and is raising two black cats named Thackery Trouble Binx and Ichabod Crane.
