May-Lynn Andresen, DNP, RN is a doctorally-prepared nurse, who, inspired by her son, re-focused her career in 2000 to the autism and I/DD field. She is co-founder and a former director of the Fay J. Linder Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities and Westbrook Preparatory School, and currently serves as Senior Advisor for Clinical Care (Northwell Health). Her passion for human-centered design supports her life-long efforts to meaningfully elevate the perspectives of people with lived experience, and to, together, shape meaningful improvement.
