Reid Caplan (they/them) is a multiply-disabled researcher and advocate. Their research focuses on participatory action-based, cognitively accessible projects that promote community inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They also serve as the Publications Manager for the Autistic Self Advocacy Network, where they create disability policy materials in Plain Language and Easy Read. They hold a Master’s degree in Social Policy from Brandeis University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Society from Beloit College.
