Weekend Schedule for Class of 2011:
Friday, April 17:
Noon – 3:30 p.m.: Medical Alumni Association Annual Meeting, Sheraton Chapel Hill – Our annual meeting of the Medical Alumni Association is an opportunity to hear from School leadership and medical students about major priorities and updates from the UNC School of Medicine. There will also be opportunities to provide feedback on the best ways to engage our alumni moving forward. This meeting will take place at the Sheraton Chapel Hill from Noon – 3:30 p.m. (One Europa Dr, Chapel Hill, NC 27517). Lunch will be served at Noon, and there is no charge for this event.
6:00 – 10:00 p.m.: Milestone Reunion Kickoff Celebration, Sheraton Chapel Hill – All reunion classes – All alumni in a reunion year (those graduating in a class year ending in 1 or 6) are invited to join us for a kickoff celebration at the Sheraton Chapel Hill (One Europa Dr, Chapel Hill, NC 27517) from 6 – 10 p.m. Enjoy food, drinks, dancing, and opportunities to connect with your class. Guests are welcome, and the cost is $50 per person.
Saturday, April 18:
1:00 – 3:00 p.m.: Roper Hall Open House – Roper Hall (150 Medical Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27514), open as of Fall 2023, is the new home for medical education at UNC. Join us from 1 – 3 p.m. for a light lunch, building tours, and opportunities to interact with students. Parking will be available on-site.
4:00-6:00 p.m.: Happy Hour at He’s Not Here. First round on Meg and Dan!
6:00 p.m.: Class of 2011 Dinner and Reunion Reception – The Story (450 W Franklin St, Chapel Hill, formerly West End Wine Bar). $75 per person, covers two drink tickets and dinner from Mediterranean Deli.
9:00 p.m.: After party at The Crunkleton.
