UNC Ophthalmology Eye Symposium and Alumni Reception
The UNC Eye Symposium will provide the latest updates and insights in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders with CME credit awarded. Our UNC alumni reception will be held immediately after and will include drinks and hors d’oeuvres as we come together to celebrate 50 years of success. Both will be held at the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education in Chapel Hill, NC on April 25, 2026.
The symposium costs $199.99. CME credit will be awarded. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. followed by the symposium from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
UNC Department of Ophthalmology is thrilled to mark the 50th anniversary of our founding in 2026, and we invite our residency and fellowship alumni to celebrate with us directly after our 2026 UNC Eye Symposium concludes. Our alumni reception will be hosted from 3-5 pm. Please join us for drinks and hors d’oeuvres and to reconnect with your fellow alumni classmates to reflect on our shared history, celebrate your achievements, and recognize the lasting impact our eye specialist graduates have made in patient care, education, and research.
