UNC CFAR SBIS Core Fall 2025 Networking Event

The Social, Behavioral, and Implementation Science (SBIS) Core of the UNC Center for AIDS Research invites you to our Fall 2025 Networking Event, featuring a special interactive workshop led by Liz Chen, PhD, MPH.

Dr. Elizabeth Chen will present her research on “Innovating Together: Human-Centered Design Tools for HIV Investigators”. During this presentation she will introduce practical and engaging Human-Centered Design (HCD) methods—including Extremes and Mainstreams and Journey Mapping—to support HIV researchers in generating new insights, co-designing with communities, and enhancing implementation strategies. 

This is a hands-on session designed for collaboration, creativity, and connection. Whether you’re a seasoned HIV investigator or new to community-engaged research, this workshop offers valuable tools to apply HCD to your work. Click here to register.
