About

Yihan Tang is a PhD candidate in Biostatistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned her BS in Statistics and her MS in Biostatistics. Before joining CFAR, she worked at the UNC Center for Environmental Health and Sustainability, supporting environmental and biomarker research. She collaborates across public health and clinical research, including projects in breast cancer survivorship and kidney disease biomarkers. Her statistical interests include survival analysis, longitudinal modeling, case-cohort designs, and simulation-based evaluation of clinical trial designs.
