Erin Steinbach is an early-stage investigator (Assistant Professor) physician-scientist dedicated to academic translational research to advance understanding of peanut and other food allergy pathogenesis. She has integrated her clinical subspecialty (Allergy and Immunology), basic science research background (mucosal immunology), and translational research interest (peanut allergy) into a multidisciplinary career where she aims to unravel the role of intestinal epithelial cell (IEC) barrier dysfunction in peanut allergy.
