What We Do

The North Carolina Postsecondary Education Alliance (NCPSEA) works to expand postsecondary education options for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in North Carolina by providing support for new program development and the ongoing success of current programs.

Membership

The NCPSEA meets quarterly and welcomes new members. If you are interested in becoming a member, or if you are currently a member and would like to feature an update about your program, please contact ncpsea@cidd.unc.edu.

Technical Assistance

Contact us with questions or technical assistance needs:

Anna Ward provides leadership for the NCPSEA including technical assistance on the navigation of university/college processes, development of policies, immersive college opportunity, and family/parent/caregiver relationships.

Dr. Kelly Kelley is the Director of the University Participant (UP) Program at Western Carolina University. She provides technical assistance for Think College with an emphasis on program development and improvement, campus living, college academic access, peer mentors, admissions processes, and accreditation.

Lisa Pluff is the Director of the Integrative Community Studies Program at UNC Greensboro. She provides technical assistance for Think College with an emphasis on partnerships with non-profit organizations, Medicaid funding, IHE approved credentials, and program operations.
