Our inpatient service is proud to provide expert consultative care to adults and children hospitalized at UNC Medical Center. We treat a broad range of common problems such as medication reactions and skin infections, and as well as less common conditions such as immunobullous disease, cutaneous vasculitis, opportunistic infections in the immunocompromised patient, and cutaneous reactions to chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

We are pleased to collaborate with the UNC Jaycee Burn Center to treat patients with Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, a rare, life-threatening skin eruption. We enjoy working with and learning from other specialists in the medical center to best care for the complex needs of hospitalized patients.
