Heather Davis is the senior voice therapist at the UNC Voice Center, specializing in voice disorders and the care of the professional voice.

Heather received her Master of Arts from the University of Maryland College Park, where she was recognized as the 2014 Outstanding Graduate in Speech-Language Pathology. Before pursuing Speech Pathology, she earned a Master of Arts in Vocal Performance from New York University in 2003 with a concentration in classical voice where she studied with vocal pedagogue, Dr. Jeanne Goffi-Fynn. Heather she also studied with Broadway great, Judy Blazer. No stranger to the stage, she studied acting technique at the Barrow Group, the Atlantic Theater School and Stellar Adler Studio. She has performed a variety of roles and musical styles, from Zerlina in Don Giovanni to Grace Farrell in Annie. She has taught classical and musical theater singing styles and performed professionally in New York and the surrounding regions for over a decade.

Her professional interests include adult and pediatric voice disorders, care of the professional voice, Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT®), swallowing disorders, accent modification, and facial nerve injury rehabilitation.
