Grand Rounds: Learning Theories and Learning Styles for the Medical Educator
The Academy of Educators invites interested faculty to participate in the following AOE-endorsed event. Members who attend the event can receive credit towards their AOE membership requirement.
Join the faculty and staff at SEAHEC for a Grand Rounds on Learning Theories with Andrew Phillips, MD, MEd. The talk will be located in the Main auditorium at NHRMC in Wilmington.
Objectives:
- Describe the three (3) families of learning theories
- Explain the Learning Styles Inventory and the VARK learning styles
- Describe how the LSI and VARK can inform your day-to-day teaching practices
COI: Editor-in-Chief of EM Coach, an online board review course that utilizes various learning theories.
