Wilmington – Interdisciplinary Grand Rounds – Inclusive Virtual Teaching: Keeping Your Learners Engaged

July 17, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Save the date! NHRMC in collaboration with UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine Academy of Educators presents virtual Interdisciplinary Grand Rounds “Inclusive Virtual Teaching: Keeping Your Learners Engaged” with Dr. Erin Malloy on July 17th, 12:00 PM EST.

As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
  1. Develop a more nuanced understanding of what limits student engagement in remote learning
  2. Create an inclusive learning environment when teaching and learning is remote
  3. Use technology to promote student engagement using asynchronous and synchronous methods.

This event is open to all, but tailored for the faculty and residents (OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, and Family Medicine) of New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Please note that this session has been offered (tailored to UNC-CH faculty and residents) previously on April 30th, 2020.
