Preventive Medicine Residents traveled to Raleigh for White Coat Wednesday in May.  WCWs are Legislative Advocacy Days organized by the NC Medical Society.  They give resident physicians the opportunity to learn about government affairs and policy decisions.  Each attendee meets one-on-one with their legislative representative, takes part in committee meetings and sees the General Assembly in action.  More information about organizing your own group for a WCW can be found here:  http://www.ncmedsoc.org/advocacy/legislative-issues/white-coat-wednesdays/.
