Dr. Anne Berry is board certified in Family Medicine and Public Health and General Preventive Medicine. After completing her Preventive Medicine Residency, Dr. Berry completed a one-year career development fellowship with the Department of Family Med and Community Health at Duke. Alongside her clinical work, she now teaches family medicine pregnancy care and women’s health procedures to residents, and she works with students and residents on community-engaged projects related to post-incarceration health, environmental public health, and maternal health equity. She is also part of the founding faculty team for the ground-breaking new interprofessional service-learning course for health professional students, “Postpartum Partners.” She also participates in the Justice/Linguistic Access Committee for the department.
Dr. Berry further serves as a member of the Policy and Advocacy Committee for Carolina Advocates for Climate Health and Justice (CACHE), is a member of the ad hoc advisory committee to NC Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program, and is a member of the Maryknoll Lay Missioners AAM Advisory Committee.
