Ashley Hildebrand, MD, Named Ascension’s 2025 Physician Leader of the Year
Ascension, the largest non-profit Catholic healthcare system in the United States, has named Dr. Ashley A. Hildebrand its 2025 Physician Leader of the Year. The honor recognizes Dr. Hildebrand’s outstanding leadership, dedication to patient-centered care, and commitment to clinical excellence across the organization.
Dr. Hildebrand, a board-certified family medicine physician based in Jenks, Oklahoma, is affiliated with Ascension St. John Medical Center. She is widely respected for her compassionate approach, thorough clinical practice, and ability to connect deeply with patients and colleagues alike.
A proud member of the UNC Faculty Development Fellowship Class of 2018, Dr. Hildebrand credits the program with shaping her leadership style and enhancing her ability to mentor others. “Every day, I put to work the skills taught in the UNC Faculty Development Fellowship and nuggets learned from my peers in the cohort,” she said.
With more than a decade of experience in family medicine, Dr. Hildebrand continues to serve as a role model within Ascension, inspiring others through her clinical expertise and unwavering dedication to improving healthcare delivery.
