Resident Physician

UNIVERSITY TRACK RESIDENT

Hello! My name is Caleb and I am excited to be one of the new providers here at UNC. I grew up in state about 2 hours northwest of chapel hill on a farm. I’ve bounced around the state a bit but have been a Tar Heel my whole life. I left the farm to go to undergraduate school in Asheville. While I was there, I ran track and cross country, got my degree in chemistry, and most importantly, met my wonderful wife. We then moved to Chapel Hill for me to start medical school and loved it so much we stayed for residency. When I am not in clinic or the hospital, you’ll most likely find me running on trails with my wife and dog. I also love to cook, hike, and play golf.

My clinical interests are quite broad. I plan to be a full spectrum rural family medicine doctor with focuses ranging from delivering babies to medication assisted treatment of substance use disorders. I also love working with older populations and kids. I cannot wait to help take care of families in our wonderful community!
