Biographical Information
Dr. Chineme Enyioha completed her medical school training at Yale University and family medicine residency at the University of Virgnia in June 2017, where she was Chief Resident in her final year of training. She also completed a Masters in Public Health and a Primary Care Research Fellowship at UNC Chapel HIll, after which she joined the Department of Family Medicine as an Assistant Professor. When not at work, she enjoys exploring new places in the area with her husband, visiting with family and friends and reading for leisure.
Areas of Interest
Dr. Enyioha’s research focuses on health disparities, decision science and examining factors that affect patients’ engagement in healthcare especially with chronic disease management.
