Dr. James Allison earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School before moving to North Carolina to complete his internship and residency at ECU/Vidant Medical Center.
He completed a career development fellowship at UNC Chapel Hill and currently serves as a clinical assistant professor, teaching patient-centered care. He is also one of the clinic team leads and quality improvement leads for the Department of Family Medicine.
