UNIVERSITY TRACK RESIDENT

Hey everyone! My name is Jordan and I’m very excited to be in North Carolina. I originally grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii and Colorado Springs, Colorado before moving to Spokane, Washington for college. There I attended Whitworth University where I studied biochemistry and played football. After that I received a Master in Medical Sciences from Heritage University before attending medical school at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, WA.

I have always been interested in family medicine and was the goal when I applied to medical school. Throughout my medical school rotations, my passion for family medicine only grew. I enjoyed every rotation and was always thinking of ways to incorporate those skills into my practice. The only place where you get to combine all those specialties is family medicine. You can go from delivering babies in the morning to managing patients in an ICU at night. We take care of anyone who walks through the doors.

UNC encompasses all things family medicine. If you have a passion, there is someone here with that same passion or knows someone with that passion. My clinical interests are full spectrum medicine, obstetrics, and rural medicine. UNC allows me the support and autonomy to explore my interests.

Outside of medicine I enjoy weightlifting, golf, country music/swing dancing, and football. I am a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan. Fly Eagles Fly!
