Kamal Henderson, MD completed Internal Medicine residency at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is currently completing a cardiology fellowship at UNC and will be Board eligible in cardiovascular medicine in the year of 2017. He will be enrolled in the Master of Science in Clinical Research at the Gillings School of Public Health starting in 2016. He plans on establishing a career as a clinician scientist in cardiovascular medicine with a focus in cardiovascular prevention, cardiovascular outcomes, and cardiovascular health disparities research.
