Biographical Information
“I chose to become a doctor because I love caring for individuals and helping them maximize their life and health,” says Dr. Halpert. “The physician-patient relationship is especially unique and I wanted to be a source of support, motivation and healing for others. My goal is to help all patients maximize their quality of life and live life to their fullest. I strive to focus on the person and understand the various issues that affect one’s health. Everyone comes from different backgrounds and my hope is to understand the individual and how we, as a team, can navigate to improve their health. Outside of the office, I love to bake, exercise and spend time with my family.”
Dr. Halpert attended medical school at the University of Florida and went on to do a residency in Family Medicine at UNC Family Medicine. She then did a geriatrics fellowship at Harvard University. She is now the Vice Chair of Clinical Excellence.
