Biographical Information

Michael Ropero, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine. He completed his undergraduate, medical school, and residency training at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Dr. Ropero completed a career development fellowship with a focus on Education and Inpatient medicine at UNC Family Medicine prior to joining the department as an assistant professor. Dr. Ropero is currently the department’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Liaison to the UNC School of Medicine. In his time outside of work, Ropero enjoys time with his family, board games, dancing, and spending time outdoors by large bodies of water.
