Biographical Information
Rana Alkhaldi, MD, grew up in North Carolina and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her undergraduate education. She received her medical degree from the Frank H Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University and returned to complete her residency training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Alkhaldi also completed a career development fellowship and served as chief resident in the Department of Family Medicine prior to joining faculty as an assistant professor in the fall of 2022. Dr. Alkhaldi practices full-scope family medicine, including obstetrics and hospital medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Alkhaldi enjoys spending time with family and friends, practicing yoga, reading, and traveling.
Areas of Interest
Dr. Alkhaldi enjoys caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds. She has a special interest in prenatal care, women’s health, and obstetrics. She also speaks Arabic fluently and has a passion for working with refugee and immigrant communities.
