Biographical Information
Dr. Yu is from Charlotte, NC. She completed medical school and a residency in Family Medicine at UNC, and also became a proud parent of two boys in the process. After 9 years of working in community health, she joined the Department of Family Medicine in 2022. She is fluent in Spanish.
Areas of Interest
Primary care for people living with serious mental illness, gender-affirming medical care, immigrant and refugee health, and unions in healthcare.
